Big mistake…

I sadly just learned a HUGE lesson. I got so carried away with my typing I forgot to hit *SAVE*.

Something happened to the software and it locked up on me.

Lost is 10 pages of work for the book…………………10 pages complete with lots of research from a breast cancer website( I do want to get it right). I mapped out the main character getting the news from the doctor and her response. Her husband’s response…………….Lost. I was an emotional mess myself when I wrote it, so I was able to put alot of emotion in the words. UGH!

Time for bed. I’ll come back another day…

A book written by a homeschool mom. Packed full of educational material-not just a quick read.

Lovin` this.

The book is about a family who roadschools (I had not heard of this till I looked up their website). Which means they travel around in their RV and use National Parks and other places to vist as part of their classroom.

In this the 1st book of the series they have class in Arizona to study about rocks. The story starts off with educational material on Arizona the state–state bird, flower, capital,etc. The Wright family is in Arizona and they are going to explore a desert cave. They go on to find an underground cave. My 9 year old read it and loved it. I loved it because it wasn’t just a book to read and give mom a report on. It was an educational book that spured her on to learn more about rocks, caves and bats. She can’t wait to get a hold of the second one. I can’t either. I enjoyed it as well. Might be a great Christmas present!

Oh! Did I mention there is a glossary of terms in the back of the book? How cool is that!

Seriously, if he can do it. Why can’t I? He is a busy Pastor at a much growing church in Tennessee. Keeps up an amazing blog that always makes me do some thinking and grow closer to our Lord. Married and has 3 kids. Travels.

He has inspired me to get moving with my book. I started it a year ago. I just laid out some of my chapters the other day and some dialogue… it’s game time!

It’s time to get the *crumbs* out of the way

and off the keyboard and get to it!

I am writing a book and it’s about a…sorry I can’t give anything else away, that way no one out there in the internet land will start their own book off of mine. I just mapped out my chapters last night and some dialogue, so we are off and running!!

I need to do some research. I’ll be posting questions here, please help me. If you help me, I will keep your name and contact information and send you a FREE book, when it’s *done with print*.

If it’s possible I will share extra copies for you to give away on your blog.

Questions:

What is the weather like in Key West Fl. in October? And does it ever rain there?
Does it snow in November in Tenn.?–thanks for the answer Cindy–since my book is fiction-maybe it WILL snow in November in Tenn. I’ve got to set the scene and add the imagery for the story and I need SNOW!
What information can you share with me about your experience with breast cancer? thanks, and keep it coming, I am praying for each of you.
