About me

Stay at home mom, if you can call it that. Wanna be writer, painter. I have 2 books that I am working on and hope to publish by the time I’m 75. I have always wanted to purchase an old home and take it back to it’s character. LOVE a good cupcake! Yum!

Lost my mom when I was 8 years old. Love my kids with every fiber of my body.
And with 7 people in our family I spend WAY to much time at Wal-Mart!

Enjoy browsing through the crumbs on the floor. Have a laugh or two, besides, seriously folks, I can’t make this stuff up.

Some Facts about me:

* I had 4 babies at home with a midwife, loved every minute of birthing my babies.
* I homeschool–most days.
*It took me a long time to think of these things.

* I have always wanted to build homes with Habitat for Humanity

*My first part of my day starts at 7am, my “second” part of my day starts at 9pm and lasts till 1am.  I’ll explain that in another post

*My husband planned our wedding day

This blog is about:  Ramblings of a mom who will clean her kitchen floor, turn around to wipe the runny nose of one of the kids, turn back around to see the other 4 kids on her once clean floor…that now has crumbs on it again… I keep this blog with hope that someday I can write that my floor is clean of crumbs.

Crumbs on my Floor was established in 2007.

don’t worry…the crumbs are disasterous in my house too! we have 3 and soon to have 4…i can’t imagine 5! i always tell people that if they want to step into my life, they will have to deal with the crushed cheerios between their toes!

What kind of books are you writing? That’s great…I love hearing about life from moms of many!

    Good luck!

    Hi There -

I have really enjoyed reading about your life, I have a few questions for you about homeschooling, I am truly interested in pulling my kids together and homeschooling them. Not sure why God is laying this on my heart but I feel that this is the direction my heart is heading. I will reach out to you very soon. :-) Also, I am honored to have had the opportunity to share the moments we have shared together. I love being your friend.

PS. I know what you mean about the writing. Working on a novel…or two myself…shopping around a non-fiction proposal…and contributing to books. Love it, but whoo-wheee, it keeps a mama hopping.
    Have a great day.

But if that floor is free of crumbs, that means they will be, most likely, all grown up….which I don’t look forward to, at least, not at this point. So, enjoy those crumbs.:)
