Mr. Klicka

It has been  a blessing to be able to have a glimpse into this family at for what should be a  private time in their lives.  Mrs. Klicka has kept us all updated  on Mr. Klicka, as she could.  I for one, appreciate her doing so.  I used to work as a hospice home health aide.  So as I would read her sometimes daily notes, I saw the signs in her words.  I knew just as she did the time was coming soon.   As I would read her words and the tears start to fall.  I would be reminded of just how short our time is here.  And how even though I get so frustrated with my husband, kids, the world around me.

It’s only temporary.

The event or crisis will pass.  We will look back and wonder why we get so upset about sometimes little things.  We need to look at things from a perspective of others.  We need to treasure the blessings we have.

We need to remember, the Lord giveth and the Lord taketh away.

We do have a room (I hope mine is the color yellow)  in our Father’s house.  But while we are here on earth, we should certainly make it the best that we can.  Leave a legacy for our children.  I know I hope to enjoy the *crumbs on my floor* a little more.  They were placed there by little hands that won’t be so little anymore.  It’s only temporary.

To God be the Glory for Mr. Klicka and his family.  They have helped pave the way for the homeschooling community in only a way that was ordained and planned out by the Master’s hands.
