You know, I watched this video about a week ago and thought….Hmm, well that’s nice. But I’ve been pondering it as of late and it really is so true. People say that we need to educate our children rather than shelter them, but really….the Bible speaks nothing of that! Sheltering our children is, in my opinion, my job as a parent. “Innocent of what is evil” is exactly what I desire for my children! In fact, perhaps I’ll even do my own blog post on that…..
This is precisely what I needed to hear tonight. I’ve been contemplating some things of late about whether or not something we’ve chosen for our family is “legalistic” or “Pharisaical”…I now realize that even if we get called those names, we must persevere.
